The penguin necklace is handmade in the UK, they are based in Worthing. The necklace measures 14 x 11 x 9mm and is available in Silver, 9ct or 18ct solid gold and platinum. You can have it engraved with up to 3 characters on the back for your mum, although there is an engraving charge. But this personalises it even more for her. The chain is adjustable, so you can wear it as a 16/18 inches (41/46 cm) or 20/22 inches (52/57cm) length necklace. It is secured with a 5mm spring ring. Jana and her husband Ross have over 50 years of experience between them as goldsmiths and jewellery makers. But after 10 years of working for other companies, they decided that it was time to start their own company together. So they spent some time designing personalised engagement rings, but then they decided to evaluate their ethics in 2020. They knew that they wanted to use their company to change how people perceived animals. They wanted to start conversations about how we treat animals in the world around us. one piece of jewellery at a time.

Jana and Ross have designed jewellery in a charity collection, which is to increase awareness and raise money for some animal rights issues. They support organisations from PETA to The Retreat Animal Rescue. They donate with the jewellery that is sold on the website.
