Dry And Uncomfortable Lips From MUA

MUA have bought out some new lip lacquers to add to their growing range of lip colours that they have to offer. I was so excited to receive these and couldn't wait to try them out. I do like a good lip colour and the longer it stays on my lips, the more I love it.

You do actually get a fantastic and ultimate velvet-matte pout with this richly pigmented lip colour that is really silky and smooth to apply. It does dry really fast but to be honest it was uncomfortable to wear. I wiped them off straight away after application because I couldn't bear to have the dryness on my lips. It dried really fast and seemed to be set in no time at all. It did irritate my lips as I applied it, so I think it has a lip plumping ingredient in it. This would help you to get the perfect pout.

We were sent 5 colours to try and I would actually only wear one of the colours. The purple looks fabulous in the bottle, but on my lips, it reminded me of an old persons blue lips when they have a heart problem, or If I had just died and you get that blue tinge to your lips. My favourite colour was DASH

The colours are pigmented so this means that you will get a good rich colour that lasts on your lips, even when you have had a drink or two. I personally wouldn't buy these, they are very uncomfortable to wear and are too dry.

I was also given a Skin Defining Matte Perect Primer, okay so this is really runny when it comes out of the tube. so be careful when you apply it. It is very greasy when you apply it to your face, but you know what - it was absolutely perfect for my skin which is really dry because of my psoriasis. I do actually like this primer, it made my skin feel smooth and soft therefore providing a perfect base for you to apply make up to your face. It provides a matte base, so it helps to disguise any parts of your skin that would be shiny. It contains vitamin e and jojoba, so that explains why it worked so well on my dry skin. And with the vitamin e and jojoba, it help me on going by adding that little bit of goodness to my skin. I would recommend this if you have dry skin.

The lip lacquers are available from Superdrug for £3.00 each and the Skin Define Matte Perfect Primer will be available soon.
