Ukick Is Going To Be The Top Of Many Christmas Lists This Year! Buy One Now

That old saying 'If at first you don't succeed, try and try again' is certainly true for David Robson and his business partner Phil Law, when they were turned down for investment in Dragons Den last year. They persevered and it has all paid off because now their product UKick is being backed by the biggest and busiest toy shop in London, Hamleys.

UKick is a new toy that is expected to be one of the top toys for Christmas this year, and with the price ticket of only £10, it is an affordable toy. Usually the most wanted toys are expensive and unobtainable, but UKick is available to anyone who wants to buy one. It is also available on Amazon or through the website

So I met up with the guys at the Hamleys Launch who demonstrated Ukick and told us a bit about the history of the toy

Ukick is a brand new twist on an old toy from Far East Asia and it was rediscovered by David, when he traveled out there. It is a tradition game of Jianzi but these guys have bought it up to date and made it accessible for kids and adults to use today. The UKick is even used by Everton football players Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas as part of their training routine. The idea of the game is to use your hands, feet or any other body part to keep the UKick off the ground -
Its a game of 'Keepy Uppy'. Ukick is described as a fusion of badminton and street football, It has four feathers that you can take out and swap with friends. It also has weights on the bottom that you can adjust to get the desired weight that you want to have, the weights can also be swapped with your friends.

So Tilly was given one to bring home and try out, she couldn't quite get the hang of keeping it off the ground and kept throwing it on the ground (yes sometimes I shake my head in disbelief haha) but she soon got her brother involved. He is 21 and actually enjoyed playing with it, its great for keeping fit as you can challenge yourself to keep it up for longer and longer each time you play it. For many people out there looking to get fit or keep fit, its the perfect way for you to do some sports without really trying to do it.
