Will a Trunki travel as Hand luggage on Ryanair?

Oh my days! the trouble we had with Tillys Hand luggage this week, Typically i left it until last minute to pack the bags and I just knew that The trunki was 0.5 cms too big for the hand luggage measurements. I hunted the internet for details, contacted Trunki through Facebook, who told me that they had never heard of any problems from Ryanair and Trunki. I then Called Ryanair First thing yesterday morning to ask them if we could take a Trunki. I was told by the customer services guy on the phone that They allow one Trunki per child and we will be fine with it. I suppose so many kids have Trunki's these days that they cant not allow them.

When we arrived at the airport we popped Trunki in the measuring box and he fitted perfectly.

A lady from Ryanair, told us they never turn a Trunki away, and they never turn away character suitcases either. This I think shows such good family customer service and gives me such confidence in them as a company.

On the plane, we popped Trunki into the overhead compartment and he fitted with no problem.

Here is just a bit of fun, that I found on youtube
