I Am Going To Geronimo Festival

Tilly has never been to a festival, We have done days out to kids events but never been for a full on weekend festival. She has been asking to go camping this year too, so if we fit it in with a cool festival, I know that she will be busy and have loads to do whilst we are away. So we are off to Geronimo Festival on May 27th for 3 days of fun and entertainment to keep Miss Tilly and her friend occupied.

Geronimo Festival is set in the grounds of Arley Hall and it's easily accessible by car, Arley Hall is signposted from Junction 9/10 on the M56 and Junction 19/20 on the M6. Follow the brown tourist signs. there will be marshalls there to help you with directions and to hopefully make the traffic flow with ease. If you're a non-driver and need to get a train, then just a light at Northwich or Hartford station and jump in a cab. Once you're there you have a full weekend of entertainment at your disposal.

The festival runs over the whole of the bank holiday weekend and you have the likes of Justin Fletcher, Katy Ashworth and Mr Bloom to entertain your little ones as well as being able to try out some activities that you have never tried before like parkour, crazy bikes and circus skills. infact there will be 100s of shows, spectacles and hands-on activities, including Jousting, Donkey rides, Mobile caving, Forager walks, Graffiti workshops, Giant tortoise, Archery, Theatre shows, Music workshops, Arts & crafts, Fire stunt show. There is literally something for everyone to do at the festival and it is recommended to buy the weekend camping ticket for £60pp, then you have the whole weekend to fit everything in. If you can't stay for the weekend, you could always go for the day and still enjoy the activities.

Going to a festival like this and introducing loads of different activities is important to me because I do like Tilly to experience a lot of different things in life. And this will offer her lots of memories as well as give her an insight into activities that she knows she will be able to do. Tillys most favourite programme on Cbeebies is Swashbuckle and I haven't told her yet that Cook and Line from Swashbuckle will be there. So hopefully it will all add to the excitement of the weekend.
