Not On The High Street Gift Idea's

This week I was invited to a Not On The High Street Christmas in July event, unless your a blogger or in the press, you will have no idea what one of these events are and how they get us all excited. We get a sneaky peek of inspirational gifts that are ready to hit our shelves this Christmas. This is the only one I am attending this year because I am busy for the rest of the summer. Notonthehighstreet.com bring together gift ideas from the UK's best small creative businesses and makes it easy for gifts to be delivered to your door.

So what were my favourite things from today?

This is my absolute favourite from today, My little Tilly would love this dolls house, It can be personalised for your child with their name on the roof and it is made from good sturdy wood. It will be long lasting for your child and it is made with bright colours to grab your child attention.

Another thing for the kids is a personalised tent from Myla and Oscar, it is such a simple design with a wooden frame and it is personalised with the childs name on the side. The tent is made with on-trend materials that the designer designed or has sourced herself. The tent is £175 This is such a simple design and is easy to put it away when you're not using it.

This personalised kitchen is lovely for the kids, it is so life like and it makes a great educational toy for the kids. it is Made from solid lightweight woodand fits in a corner out of the way, when its not being used it comes with accesories and the door opens so they can cook alongside mummy. This can also be personalised with your childs name

There is a huge range of kids clothes for the Christmas period, and I just fell in love with Christmas pyjamas, we have a tradition in our home where we always have new pyjamas for Christmas and I absolutely adore the range from Not On The High Street. There are loads of scrummy baby gro's and vests for babies first Christmas.

Now thats enough for the kids, I think its time for some grown up fun, and to start with , we need this in our home! A beer advent calendar, in the shape of a Christmas tree it does take up a fair bit of space but it will be a fantastic talking point.

This next one is for me, I am not normally a Gin drinker, but the mixture of gin and Christmas pudding was actually appealing to me, and it didn't fail when we drank it. I didn't know what to expect and wondered if it would be too sweet, like Christmas pudding can be. But the balance of gin and Christmas pudding is just right and it would be lovely with lemonade or tonic water. Gin Tales make this in their North London workshop, It will be available soon on the website for £35

Isn't this the cutest little Christmas decoration? you can pop it on a bottle for a cheery bit of fun or use it on the top of the tree as an alternative to an angel or a star - this is definitely going on the top of our tree this year, Tilly has decided already. This tree topper is knitted on giant needles in Lauren Ashton's loft studio and is in NotOnTheHighStreets top 10 list for this Christmas, it will be £18 when it goes on sale.

GreaterSkies have this amazing and unique gift for anyone, all you do is choose a special date in the future or a date from the past and they will pin point where the stars were or are at that exact time and place, then you get a print. This would make an unbelievable gift for a wedding present, birthday present or Christmas present for someone special. I know we can get newspapers printed from the day we were born, but this is 100 times better and so unique. This is available now for £84 on notonthehighstreet.com.

These are just a few of the lovely gifts you can expect to see in the run up to Christmas, yes I know its only July, but there is no harm in starting early. Please pop over and take a look and look out for our gift guides nearer to Christmas for some excellent ideas from Not On The High Street.
