7 Tips For Staying Fresh on The Plane

Holiday Must Haves For The Plane

Can you imagine how many germs are recycled with the germs on the plane? So our number one tip is to take some wipes with you, if you are travelling with kids anyway – you will more than likely have some with you. But if not, grab yourself a packet of hand wipes for about £1 a pack. But to be honest you can buy a handbag size of baby wipes for about 49p and they are bigger and stronger than the hand wipes. They can also come in sensitive and this is what we use when we go away, they are perfect for wiping over your face, because if they are sensitive enough for your baby – then they will be perfect for your skin.

Bottled Water
You need to keep hydrated on the plane, so drinking water is not only important for your insides but also to help keep your skin hydrated. Our skin becomes dull and we all want to look our best when we step off the plane.

Use something like Olay hydration and Radiant Glow is perfect for helping to rehydrate your skin and give it a healthy glow. It also has an SPF 15, which is perfect for when you first step off the plane and you haven’t had time to slap on the sun cream (but please apply suitable sun cream as soon as you can. Another great product is Nip and Fab Hydrate, this is an intense hydration concentrate. Its easy to use and you simply click once and apply to the face.

Waterproof Mascara
You never know who you could be sitting next to on the plane, it could actually be a hottie and we all know first impressions last! So keep those eyes smudge free with a waterproof mascara. You do get tired on the plane and you rub your eyes, if you’re on a long haul flight, you will want to freshen up and look good for that hottie next to you.

Cooling Mask
When you get tired on the plane a cooling mask is a fab idea to cool your eyes down. Before you leave for the airport, pop it in the fridge or freezer to really cool it down and when you are on the plane, just pop it on the eyes and you get an instant cooling feeling and your eyes will be less puffy.

Eye Drops
You can pick up some refreshing eye drops for a few quid and you simply add them to your eyes for instant refreshment and sparkle to the eyes. There is nothing worse that starting your holiday with sore, tired and dull looking eyes.

Another important way to freshen up is by using a spray of your favourite perfume or even a body spray. It is an instant  pick me up and if the hottie is still sitting next to you on the plane, he may just find the scent sexy. It also disguises sweaty body smells. Don’t have anything too strong though  because you don’t want to upset the people around you.  A spritzer is perfect

Lip Balm
This is a great item to have and it barely takes up any space. You simply use it to moisturise your lips and if you get a tinted moisturiser is gives a bit of colour too and isn’t as drying on the lips as some lip colours can be.
