Easter Fun At Dreamland Margate

Are you looking for something to do in East Kent this Easter Holidays? Well look no further than Dreamland in Margate where they want you to “Hoist the Main Sail” with them. As usual the park will go under one of their fab transformations as they prepare the good ship Dreamland for an Easter special with a spring series of nautical themed events. The event at the UK’s original pleasure park, Dreamland Margate will run from Good Friday 25th March to Sunday 10th April. A special Dreamland Treasure Hunt will be running daily, with bands on the bandstand, Fun Fairers dishing out prizes for the best fancy dress outfits and a petting zoo featuring lambs, goslings, raccoons, a giant rabbit, chicks and chickens. With all of this is included in the park entry ticket, it makes for a good day out.

Head to Mermaid School to collect your treasure hunt map… will it lead to the buried treasure? Have you got the skills to solve clues, complete the challenges and find it? With others scouring for it too, you’ll have to be smartly, me matey! Prepare for an interactive gaming experience across the entire park, picking up clues, solving puzzles and meeting exciting nautical characters. Explorers can be solo or hunt in teams with the approximate gaming time lasting 45 minutes.

Park theming will include a lighthouse-skelter, icebergs and a Pirate School. Children are encouraged to come dressed up in their nautical best - pirates, mermaids, sailors and explorers are just some outfits they want to see!

Daily on the bandstand:
  • Park mascots Teddy and Betty will be doing special performances featuring special guest, Ozzie the Octopus!
  • Meet the Seagulls – greet our resident rare breed (cuddly) seagulls at feeding time.
  • Learn sea shanties with the Fun Fairers who will get you ready for the seven seas with sing-a-long sessions and watch a proper 70-piece Sea Shanty choir in action on Easter Sunday.

The park is open for the duration of the Easter school holidays from 11am - 6pm Sundays - Thursdays and 11am - 9pm Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets can be bought here.
