Halloween is fast approaching and although it is a custom that is getting more and more popular as the years go by, and the costumes get better and better every year. So I asked Tilly 'what would you like to dress up as this year for Halloween?' She had a little think about it and said ' Elsa Mum, I want to be Elsa.'
Now unless you were born on another planet, you must know who Elsa is! She isn't Exactly scary is she?
'Are you sure you don't want to be something scary?' I asked her? and she was adamant she wants to be Elsa. Half of me was so pleased as she has Elsa and Anna costumes already along with most of the other princesses. Halloween doesn't have to be about the scary dressing up, Its just an excuse to dress up and all over America they dress up in all sorts of costumes to celebrate the old pagan holiday.
In previous years we have found the scariest outfit we could or the cutest outfit, We have dressed her up how we wanted her to be dressed up. But now she is 5 years old and has a mind of her own. She is stubborn and will do what she wants to do. So this year my little princess will be Princess Elsa for Halloween (mind you she changes her mind on a daily basis, so by the time Halloween comes along it will probably be something else.
Whilst browsing the Internet I was looking at alternative costumes and Tilly does have a few from DisneyLand Paris and the Disney store, so I thought I would pop along there and see what they have for Halloween. They have a whole range of costumes and you know what? They weren't all scary costumes so it would seem my five year old child has owned me once again by proving to me that I need to move into 2015 and let her dress up as a princess for Halloween. Pop over to the Disney store for Some fab Disney costumes
