YHA Pop Up Charity Shops Offering Pre-Loved Goods At Charity Prices

Every year, many people leave some of their belongings behind after a visit to one of the many YHA properties in UK. Some of it is because it is left by accident and others leave it behind because they know the YHA have had huge success of the YHA Lost Property Charity Shop at YHA London St Paul’s for the past two years. We are big charity lovers in our household and there is nothing better than pre-loved items of clothes and other things. Pre-loved means that someone has loved the items that your about to buy.

The YHA Lost Property Charity Shop at YHA London St Paul’s have had a very successful 2 years with the charity shop and YHA believe in good old charity shop prices and some of the pre-loved items start with prices as low as 50p.

This year YHA has decided it is going to create more pop up charity shops for two days in September (5th and 6th) at YHA Ambleside, YHA Bristol, YHA Cambridge, YHA Cardiff,
YHA Keswick, YHA Liverpool, YHA London St Paul’s, YHA Malham or YHA York will be open for you to pick up some bargains with some interesting history and you can also get a chance to see inside some historical buildings that you wouldn't normally see. Like Rowntree House in York or the former boarding house for the St Pauls Cathedral boys choir at YHA London St Pauls. Some events are also showcasing some local student designers so you may be able to pick up an original piece from the next Vivienne Westwood or Karl Lagerfeld!

YHA say this  about the project and all money raised. ''All money raised on the day goes directly to the YHA’s charity, Breaks for Kids, which gives bursaries to children from financially disadvantaged backgrounds when they take part in a school or community group break – allowing them to experience the great outdoors and a variety of adventures that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to. We believe in providing opportunities for everyone.''
