The Antsibition At Old Street Station

On Monday we were lucky enough to be invited to The Antsibition in partnership with IMAX. It took place in Old Street tube station and is open to the public from today untill friday 17th July. It is open untill 9pm on all of the days, so pop in on your commute home from work or pop in with your kids. I took Tilly and she loved seeing the art in the eye of a needle. You would think it couldnt be done but the art is created by renowned British micro-artist Willard Wigan MBE, and he says he has to have a steady hand and often it takes 3 weeks to finish a piece of art.
The Antsibition was to celebrate the release of the new film due to be released on Friday 17th July 2015, Ant-Man.
The “Ant” sized gallery will be open from 13th to 17th July 2015 at Old Street Station in London, and will give visitors a unique chance to experience the tiny world of Ant-Man up close as miniature magic is bought to the gallery which measures just 4.5m by 3.2m
As well as art from the Ant-Man movie, ther eis some other works from the Artist including Disney.Artwork on display will include minute Ant-Man film art and micro-sculptures by renowned British micro-artist Willard Wigan MBE, who will also reveal a new, bespoke piece inspired by ANT-MAN. Wigan’s work is commonly placed in the eye of a needle, or on the head of a pin. Once completed, his work measures only a few micromillimetres (less than 1/13th of the size of a grain of rice).

Take a visit, Its worth it.
