The Anti-Ageing Show

At the weekend I was so lucky to be a guest of the Anti-aging show in London. Every lady gets to the age where they have to start thinking about the skin care regime they use and might need to change it to benefit her skin more. So going to The Anti Ageing Show is a great way to go and try out some of the great options out there for you from creams and lotions to cosmetic surgery from the top clinics in England.

It was lovely to meet up with some great brands and see how encouraging they were to the ladies that were worried about the way they look. I turned up with hair tied back and looking like I had been dragged through a bush backwards but the lovely people at DonnaBella stopped me and offered me a free hair makeover - who am I to say no to such a lovely offer? Using some straighteners they actually curled my hair! I was so impressed with the result but unfortunately didn't have the money to buy the straighteners on the day. The plates of the straighteners move from side to side, making it easier to style your hair. Here is the finished result

Having your hair done makes you feel so confident and like a different person, Next I went to see the lovely people at Rejuve Me, They are a company who have designed a plant based beauty supplement as a drink, I have tried and tested it and i wrote about it here. The guys from Rejuve me were on hand to tell you about the product and to let you try some too. Rejuve Me is all natural and is a great pick me up if your feeling down, tired or generally showing signs of premature ageing. It works from the inside because it is filled with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

There were new companies at the show including one called Grounded Body Scrub, they are a company that sell a scrub that blends coffee granules with natural ingredients to offer you a body scrub that leaves the softest of skin. I have spoken before about my psoriasis on my blog and we used this on a patch of very dry skin. Afterwards it felt smooth and it didn't irritate my skin. The ingredients are sourced in the UK and the product is made in the UK. Something that I am a big believer in. The ingredients are not tested on animals so are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

These were only a handful of the brands available at The Anti-Ageing Show as well as there being live demonstrations and the opportunity to try the treatments out yourself at a fraction of the price from Harley Street Clinic and Revere Clinic.

The Anti-Ageing Show is back next year and promises to be bigger and better with all the brands they have to showcase. Next years dates for the diary are 14th and 15th May 2016. More details can be found on the website nearer the time.
