YHA 85th Birthday Competition
When the older kids were little we were quite often found in a youth hostel having a few days away somewhere. The youth hostels are affordable and so much cheaper than booking a hotel room if you are travelling alone. You get to meet so many different people from different ways of life and you get to stay in places, you maybe wouldnt stay in.
It’s YHA’s 85th birthday in April and to celebrate they’ve got some great prizes to give away for anyone that’s got itchy feet. Throughout their birthday week they’ll be giving away £100 worth of YHA vouchers per day (13th – 17th April 2015) in their biggest competition to date plus two runners up prizes per day of your choice of YHA memberships – perfect wanderlust inspiration!
So whether you fancy an English road trip, a rural retreat in the Peak District or even surfing in Cornwall, these prizes can help you get there. There are a staggering 15 chances to win a prize during the week. All you need to do to enter is spot the four differences on a picture of the gorgeous YHA Brighton and enter your details for a chance to win. Entries are open now and will close at the end of the birthday week.
YHA (England & Wales) has been providing low cost accommodation for travellers for 85 years. The organisation was officially formed on 10th April 1930 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who wanted to provide young people with an affordable escape from their inner city lives. YHA continues to create opportunities for young people and has come so far since 1930.
Gone are the days of wardens and chores, you can now choose from comfortable locations in the
countryside, by the coast or in the city – great for exploring England and Wales, sampling the local food and finding out about the area. YHA’s latest flagship Youth Hostels include YHA Brighton and YHA Cardiff Central.
