Christmas was a struggle for us this year and most of my gifts were either freebies from work or what I had kindly been given from companies for blogging. Tillys gifts were bought on 3 for 2's and somehow we managed to pull of some kind of Christmas day. We went without a few food luxuries too, but you know what we didn't even miss them and know for next year, that we don't need such luxuries.
The presents seemed to all go down well and for months Tilly has been going on about a 'Flipping Pony', it is a My Little Pony that does backwards flips and she was so excited when she opened it. Luckily we were able to catch it on video.
This is going to be the last Christmas we have on our own as Beth will have her own little family next year and is more than likely going to be off doing her own thing with them, so it was nice to have this last Christmas together and if we are spend next Christmas together then its a bonus :)
Boxing Day we took Tilly out for a walk to town as she had been stuck in the house for a few days. We decided to go and see the Boxing Day dip that is put on as a charity event every year. Rather these people than me!
