Whiny Whiny Rhino A book review By Tilly Aged 4

What did Tilly think of the book?

Today i bring you a review from Little Miss Tilly, who is helping me by doing her first book review for the blog. I added the book to my kindle and as we were taking a few train journeys, i thought it would be good to have something to read to her. She loved the book and got right into it. I found it had a kind of peer pressure angle to the book, where the brothers are wanting him to do things that he doesn't want to do, but he goes off and does what he wants to do - in his own time. It showed Tilly that you don't have to do, what other friends and siblings tell you to do, if you don't feel confident. Yet at the same time, it showed you that sometimes you do have to be brave and try things out.

I had to read the story 3 times in a row and I am sure the other passengers were enjoying the story too. The pictures in the story are bright and colourful, easily getting a childs attention.

Book Synopsis:

Can Tiny Tiny Rhino have a fun day?

Or will all of his whining get in the way?

If you've ever been worried to try something new,

then Whiny Whiny Rhino is the book for you!

The story’s message is like the Mark Twain quote, “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.” We all get apprehensive when encountering new experiences and this often leads us to avoid ever trying anything new. Just having a little courage to try new things can often lead to a much more exciting and enriching life.
